Lisa is a Clinical Psychologist with decades of experience integrating evidence-based approaches in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD and bipolar disorder. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds in community mental health centers, college campuses, inpatient hospitals, and in private practice.
Lisa received her doctoral degree from Howard University and has served on the board of various foundations, including serving as the president of the Virginia Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She is an EMDR therapist who utilizes an integrative approach to treating trauma, including contemplative practices and body-based modalities.
Lisa is passionate about educating her clients and the public about our body’s innate ability to heal from trauma. She conducts workshops, therapy and psychoeducational groups on numerous topics aimed at equipping her clients with the education and tools needed to more effectively cope with stress. Lisa has a private practice in Richmond and Ashland, VA with the support of her therapy dog, Heidi. She enjoys being outdoors, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.

Robin is a pioneer in bringing evidence-based mind-body practice to mainstream settings (US Defense Department, Veterans Affairs, universities, corporations, and government). She presents internationally on mind-body approaches for addressing stress and trauma and boosting resilience, including training healthcare workers how to integrate these practices in the workplace
Robin's work has been featured in many publications including The Washington Post, Yoga Journal, Women's Day, Army Magazine, and Huffington Post, and has published articles in mental health textbooks and professional journals. In 2013, Robin was honored by the Smithsonian Institution for her pioneering work in bringing mind-body practice to U.S. military communities.
Robin has a private yoga therapy practice in Silver Spring, MD. She enjoys singing in a cover band, Close Enough, and volunteering in schools with her therapy dog, Otis.
